RISE
A Community Service Partnership (formerly Community Action Service Center CASC) RISE is a non-profit social service agency dedicated to offering “a hand up, not just a handout” to local families struggling to become or remain self-sufficient. RISE's programs address a broad range of needs, facilitating family development and access to affordable health care, information, and support. Services range from employment assistance and affordable housing referrals to emergency financial assistance and year-round food pantry. More information can be found at the agency's new website at www.rise-community-services.org. We have partnered with RISE since 2002, and this relationship was borne from a provisional class project.
