League voted to establish a Volunteer Bureau for a three-year demonstration period.
“New Jersey and the Artist” opening exhibit underwritten by the League at the State Museum in its inaugural year.
Community Research established as a standing committee to provide constant appraisal of national trends and local needs.
“Wizard of Oz” staged for 8000 children in 17 performances (also appeared on Philadelphia channel 3).
Community Leaders Forum held with reps from 39 social agencies and 14 other Leagues with speaker.
Provisional project to catalogue books in the school library and create a brochure for Valley Day School for Emotionally Disturbed Children.
New puppet show “Nestor and the Alligator” performed.
