95th Anniversary Project

In 2016, the Junior League of Greater Princeton celebrated our 95th Anniversary. We are proud of this accomplishment.  In honor of this milestone, we sponsored activities and events throughout the year that we felt were representative of our rich history in the community.

Specifically, we led a “95 for 95 Years” fundraising campaign in an effort to raise money to support our community programming.  We exceeded our goal of raising $9500 during our plan year.  The generosity and engagement of our members, sustainers and community partners who contributed to this goal was apparent.  Our League also donated 95 meals and 95 toiletry welcome kits to HomeFront as an ode to our 95 years of service.  Finally, as our final Community event of our 95th year, we sponsored a Mother’s Day event at HomeFront that allowed us to service both women and children, our two main areas of focus.  Following the event, Liza Peck, Volunteer Coordinator at HomeFront, shared, “Thank you all for making such a magical morning for our Moms!  The food was absolutely delicious and following it up with manicures, make-up and massages made our Mom’s feel pampered and special.  Every detail was perfect – a result of a lot of hard work and careful planning.  Please let everyone involved know how much we appreciate all of your kindness and support.”

We are passionate about our work and look forward to the next 95 years of serving our community!
