The Junior League of Greater Princeton is excited to announce that we will be part of the global movement of #GivingTuesday. This movement was organized by the United Nations Foundation & 92nd Street Y in 2012 as an effort to channel the influence people have around the world to support the causes they believe in and their communities through the power of technology and social media.

This year we want to focus our campaign on the JLGP’s involvement in women’s leadership! The JLGP believes in fostering a community of female leadership and developing the potential of women. The League donates over $7000 in grants and scholarships each year.

On Giving Tuesday, Facebook will match donations made to non-profits, including the JLGP. At 8:00 am EST on December 3, 2019, the match will go live, matching dollar for dollar on a first-come, first-served basis until $7M in eligible donations are matched. 100% of donations made through Facebook Payments go to the nonprofit organization.

*Update 12/3/19* – Facebook has matched $7 million in donations today. But there’s still time for the community to come together and donate on this day of giving!
