Presidents’ Bowl Recipient:
This was the inaugural year for the Presidents’ Bowl, so named because past presidents were each asked to contribute $2 to the purchase of the original Revere bowl. “Perhaps the accomplishment dearest to the heart of the Placement Committee this year was the inauguration of an award given to the active member with the most outstanding record of volunteer service for the year…The Placement Committee compiled a list of nominees and their qualifications …this list, using numbers and not names, was submitted to a sustaining committee for its final selection.” The winner was Mrs. Paul Parker
